Lake Bluff Fun Run: Register Now! Early registration is open for the Lake Bluff Beagle Dash on October 10th! The Beagle Dash is not only a fun run, but the main fundraiser for the Lake Bluff PTO. Last year raised enough funds to allow the PTO to fund over $7,500 in Educational Grants, purchase yearbooks for every student and fund the beautification of Lake Bluff grounds. This year we have several goals to reach including a Popcorn Party and funding a Compost Lunch Program!

Upcoming Dates:

  • Have a coffee with us at the first PTO Meeting next Thursday, September 26th! All parents and caregivers are welcome. We are meeting after drop off.  We will be talking about the upcoming Beagle Dash, prospective budget for the year and other fall activities.
  • Practice your smile, it's almost Picture Day (9/26)! Picture Day is almost here. Remember to fill out order forms -- paper forms were sent home last week or order online here
  • Walk and Roll to School Day on October 2nd Lake Bluff will be hosting our annual celebration of Walking and Rolling to School. This year the SHS Band joins the before school fun. Volunteers are needed to help hang up banners, hand out pencils, or assist at the selfie stations. Sign-up here. More details below.

Reminders - Register your student(s) in the ONLY school directory!

  1. Go to the PTO Website (www.LakeBluffBeagle.com) and take a couple of minutes to update your student's profile for the School Directory. The PTO website is the only school directory.
  2. On the website, please donate $20 per student for the annualStaff & Teacher Gift Fund. The PTO collects funds from every parent to provide a holiday gift for each staff member (70+ employees) and all classroom teachers at the end of the year. This is in lieu of individual classroom gifts.

Please get in touch with PTO President Tracy Yothsackda with any questions. Together, we are the Lake Buff community!

Lake Bluff is 100 Years Old! Celebrate on September 21 - Volunteers Needed

To commemorate this moment in history, we are throwing a party on Saturday, September 21! Join us by the playground from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for more fun, including:

  • Immy's African Cuisine and Musa Ice Cream Food Truck
  • Cupcakes

Have you registered for the School Directory?

Please take a moment to go to the PTO Website, www.LakeBluffBeagle.com. Within five minutes and a few clicks, you can update your child's information in the PTO/School Directory, pay your annual contribution to the teacher/staff gift fund, review the volunteer opportunities, and more. Please be sure to select this year's teacher for each student to receive class-specific communications.

The Lake Bluff Directory is the only place to find the names and contact information of Lake Bluff students. It serves as the school directory. Also, by updating/inputting your information, the PTO can send occasional emails regarding upcoming events.

Download the free Membership Toolkit companion app for mobile access to the website.

Join the Yearbook Team! Do you enjoy taking photos?

The yearbook committee is looking for 1-2 new volunteers this year to take photos and help with layout. Ideally, learning the ropes to take over for next year since it's the current chair's last year.  Please contact PTO President Tracy Yothsackda.

  • Hosted Back to School Breakfast for all staff
  • Provided mini-grants to all teachers to help underwrite the out-of-pocket beginning-of-the-year costs
