Flyers about the Beagle Dash went home this week!  

You can register now online via the Fun Run Booster Website.  This is the first step to help our school reach our PTO  fundraising goal this year.

Once you’re registered, you have access to all of the fun sharing & donation features to help us raise funds. Features like:

• The Student Star Video featuring YouTube Trickshot Stars, Dude Perfect!
•  Easy Email and Texting
• Automatic payment features, like Apple Pay

There are prizes too. They will be distributed after school one day.

The goal of the fun run is to raise funds that will allow us to continue to provide and expand enrichment opportunities that strengthen our school community. Ideally, the Beagle Dash will replace a number of our smaller fundraisers. Learn more here. Atwater Elementary has successfully held this event for 5 years. 

Fundraising Goals:

$20,000 - After School Popcorn Party 

$24,000 - All students receive a free yearbook

$25,000 - Mr. Kreigel & Ms. Harrison get a pie in the face!

$28,000 - Principal O-K gets a pie in the face!

Walk & Roll to School Day is a national celebration each October. We celebrate with music, photo opportunities, and the coveted "I walked to school today" pencils. The festivities take place during drop-off, with the SHS orchestra playing between 8:00-8:15am. 

We have lots of fun planned for this year's Walk & Roll to School Day, and your help is needed to make it happen. Visit the sign-up here to get involved.

Prior to COVID, all families received a purple folder filled with classroom, Lake Bluff, District and/or community flyers each Thursday. This folder was referred to as the Thursday Folder.  Some classrooms have continued the tradition while others have not in part due to the fact that groups are printing less flyers. 

The PTO houses the Lake Bluff virtual Thursday folder. Look for the Thursday folder button at the bottom of our homepage on www.LakeBluffBeagle.com.

The School District is implementing a new math curriculum, Eureka Math, this year. Each classroom (K5-5th) needs some supplies to implement the curriculum. The district has asked the PTO to help facilitate the collection of the items for each classroom.

The PTO donated items that were requested for immediate use such as reams of card stock, plastic page protectors, individual white boards, and more. 

Kindly consider donating materials to be used with the Eureka Math curriculum. Today, we have the sign-up genius lists for four classrooms (Neuville, Mandela, Eires/Walton and Dean/Manke) we will be adding more lists as they become available.

There will be boxes placed in each classroom to collect the supplies. On behalf of the district, we thank you for your contributions.

To start the year off, please take a moment to go to the PTO Website, www.LakeBluffBeagle.com. Within five minutes and a few clicks, you can update your child's information in the PTO/School Directory, pay your annual contribution to the teacher/staff gift fund, review the volunteer opportunities, and more.

The Lake Bluff Directory is the only place to find the names and contact information of Lake Bluff students. It serves as the school directory. Also, by updating/inputting your information, the PTO can send occasional emails regarding upcoming events. Please be sure to select this year's teacher for each student to receive class-specific communications.
