Welcome to the 2024 All School Read

Have you ever found a gem of a book inside a little free library? The Lost Library is a mystery that centers upon the sleuthing of eleven-year-old Evan and his best friend, Rafe, as they investigate the connections between the appearance of a new little free library, apparently managed by a large, orange cat, an old book, a reclusive librarian, and Evan’s father’s secrets. Evan discovers that it is not only little free libraries that often contain beautiful surprises. The people around him have unique and important stories to share – once he becomes curious enough to pay attention.

All Lake Bluff families will receive a copy of the book. During the next four weeks, your family can read along with the community and choose to participate in exciting enrichment activities, including a celebration after school on Wednesday, May 8. Details on the after-school celebration will be posted later—check back for more information.
