Welcome to the 2026 All School Read 

We are delighted to announce the start of our ninth annual All-School Read event! This year, we
are reading the Newberry Medal Winner, The Eyes & The Impossible, by Dave Eggers. All Lake
Bluff families will receive a free copy of the book on Monday, April 13th. During the next four
weeks, your family can read along with the community and can choose to participate in creative
enrichment activities.  

Optional Weekly Reading Response Questions

Starting April 22nd we will post a link to a weekly reader response question here and on our 

Facebook page. We invite students to submit their responses for a chance to win a prize.

The questions will be posted on Wednesdays, and the winners will be announced on Fridays during the morning announcements. We invite all readers to participate.

Responses are due by 10:00 pm on Thursday.

There will be 3 prizes awarded each week.
